Walks from the Door

We're right on the doorstep of some of the best walks around Skipton. So tie up your walking boots and view some great walks before you set off on your journey

Bolton Abbey

Enjoy a fun day out for all the family at Bolton Abbey. Explore the church ruins, take a walk across the famous stepping stones and wander across the woodland and riverside. A must see if visiting us!

Lightwater Valley

Looking for a great family-friendly day out? Lightwater Valley Theme Park is under an hour away and home to over 30 rides and attractions including the longest roller coaster in Europe - The Ultimate.

Skipton Castle

Over 900 years old, Skipton Castle is one of the best preserved medieval castles in England and is well worth a visit. With Skipton High Street nearby, its a great excuse to mix shopping with some history!

Walk the Dales

We are less than 20 minutes away from the Yorkshire Dales National Park so if you're looking for adventure, look no further. With incredible views and great walking routes, its a great excuse to lace up your walking boots.

Shop in Skipton and Beyond

If you're after some retail therapy, Skipton Town Centre has some great shops to explore. We're also just a 40 minute drive away from Harrogate so there's plenty of choice.

Thornton Hill Country Park

If you're after a great family day out, Thornton Hill Country Park is packed full of great animals and activities to keep the little ones happy. For the big kids, why not try a quad bike session?
